Zia Ur Rehman Tells his story
I am from a small village near Mansehra showed all the promises of a brilliant engineer and an individual with drive to succeed and serve mankind, but my family situation would not enable me to achieve my goals. DIYA WELFARE has been supporting my education for four years at Peshawar Engineering University, from Where I graduated in 2000 with a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, now gainfully employed.
I am so thankful to DIYA Welfare Society that it supported My education for four years, I finished my B.A, in Commerce (M. Com) in Abbottabad."
Sadiqa Yousaf received seed money to start a shop, while Abida received sewing machine to start sewing teaching School.
Mrs. Mukhtar Miskin's expenses for appendicitis were covered by the DIYA WELFARE SOCIETY.
A daughter of sharecropper wanted to study beyond high school but for family resources did not permit so. She was provided with the assistance through her college years and now she is a teacher in the local school.
During the last few years approximately 70 individuals have received assistance to partially or fully cover their education expenses.
Nine (9) girls were provided marriage assistance (i-e dowry, reception expenses etc.).
